RE: Firefox not loading javascript files Dave R Wait 14.Nov.11 10:43 AM a Web browser Forms 8.5.1 (Lotus Domino)AIX
Hi Albert,
We have a lot of javascript and customization going on. Quickr seems to run just fine, it's just that some of the javascript files we have written have stopped working in IE 8 and none of them (our customizations) load at all in Firefox.
We use them mostly for look up values depending upon choices a user makes. We also have a custom Review & Approval process which is now non-functional.
I just created a simple form and threw in some fields to test with, such as a date field and members list. I then created a document with this form and all the fields worked as expected and I was able to save and then view the document. I did not find any problems with Quickr's native coding.
We have SSL turned off so that we were able to watch the custom scripts in FF, but for some reason now they don't even load when the document is accessed.
This is why I am thinking it's a security setting issue.
2 weeks ago we had no problems, now all of a sudden, we can't even load the javascript files in FF. They do work in IE though, just not completely. All of our testers only use IE 8.
The developers use both to fix issues. This is a tough one.
It is really hard to understand the problem without being able to follow the scripts.
I was hoping that someone else had encountered something similar and knew what caused it, so we could reverse it or back out whatever changed.
