I have an existing WS Portal v6.0.0.1 installation and I want to add Quickr functionality to this portal.
I wanted to install Quickr on the same machine as my existing portal and I had hoped that it would recognize the fact that WAS+Portal were already installed (in a manner similar to the Quickr for Domino installation program...it just installs & runs right on top of whatever existing Domino 7 server you specify.)
When I went to install Quickr on my portal machine, the installation program didn't ask for or display any information regarding the existing portal. When I checked what the installation program was doing, it looked to me like it was installing a whole new instance of WAS and WS Portal, which is not what I wanted.
Is it even *possible* to install Quickr for Portal over an existing portal instance? Or do I now have to install Quickr on a separate machine and access it remotely from my existing portal?
