We are using Quickr 8.1.1 with WebSphere Portal on Windows and occasionally have a problem (now) where editing the content of some components does not "take." For example, we attempt to edit the content of the Rich Text component on the Welcome screen of our home place and it looks like it will work, but when we hit OK, the changes are not really accepted. The content is just as it was from a previous edit. This is similar for multiple places.
We do have the privilege (logged in as admin and do have the "Edit" option). We have edited this component previously successfully. We have rebooted the machine. Seems like we had this issue once before but the underlying DB was "in the weeds" (not sure what that meant as the admin found it) ... recycling the DB fixed the problem that time. Not this time. In fact, our Admin says the underlying DB looks OK.
I have edited the Wiki in another place at this time and that change took effect.
