Hi there.
Have seen this problem reported elsewhere on the forum and wondered what the latest is.
We are installing 2.07 on windows NT/2000 as an overlay with domino 5.0.7.
Get server crashes when a user who is not in any QP groups tries to log in to the server. This is related to the known bug with nested groups.
The lotus patch has been applied and works fine on the test QP server, but not on the live server. However, deleting large numbers of groups from the NAB seems to work?
The fixes/work arounds suggested seem to be:
1) Use LDAP directory trick instead of standard domino directory
2) Change ports from 80 to 8080.
Neither of these is going to be suitable for us. Upgrade to 5.0.8/2.0.8 is also unlikely to happen for a while.
Any ideas how else we can get round this in the meantime?
