I'm having a severe performance issue trying to see a Quickr if I try to see the site from a mac (with either Safari or Firefox). I seem to recall the first time I connected with my windows box, it downloaded some executable. I'm wondering if it's trying to do the same every time on the mac (even though it obviously will never run). Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way to either make the server or the browser on the Mac behave so that it doesn't do this? When I say severe performance, I'm talking 15 minutes just to load the home page (if it does at all). It's specific to the quickr site, as all other web sites come up fine on the Mac.
