I'd like to get an understanding on what qptool upgrade -f a -saveform prefs does. Sometimes I see database designer sarted on a place and then I see it processing a place and the sometime I just see qptool processsing "placename" without any database designer started. It seems as though it takes a long time to finish a fixpack upgrade.
