Can anyone please explain the "new" licensing for our clients that have Quickr.
The "withdrawal" notice says that customers who have Quickr will have their license replaced by Connections & Connections Content manager.
Imagine their surprise when they get their renewal and their cost has gone from 86000 to 147000. HUGE increase just to maintain their "support" for a quickr system they have absolutely NO intention of replacing with Connections Content Manager.
The problem seems to lie in them being forced to pay for BOTH connections and connections content manager.
Great deal IF the customer wants to move to connections but an absolute rip off (my customers words not mine) if all they want to do is maintain their Quickr infrastructure for the next 3 years or so.
Has given them the incentive to move the lot to sharepoint.
I'd like to see some clarity and consistency similar to the way in which DomDoc was "swapped" for quickr
