Strange new development: Email notices aren't being mailed when one adds new users to a new place based on the 8.x templates. And the member profile of the added user (picked from the Domino Directory) is not being updated with info from the Domino Directory. If I try the same things from a new place based on a pre-8 template, it all works fine.
Scenario: I create a new place. I choose the Standard Place for Teams. The place is generated. I go to add members. I pick users from our Domino Directory. I check the box to send them notices. The notices are never sent. Member profiles are never populated with info from the Domino Directory. If I do the same thing but choose a custom template based on pre-8 design, everything works just fine.
Can anyone clue me in as to what might be causing this, how to troubleshoot it? Thanks.
UPDATE: Problem solved. Downgraded Domino from 8.5.2 to 8.5.0.
