I have done a very stupid thing... I have lost my Lotus 96 cd!! I am really annoyed about this as I wanted to use it....
So, I was looking on Amazon to see how much an upgrade would cost and I see that V9.8 is as little as £20... so why not upgrade?
Now, I'm a big beliver in not fixing what ain't broke.. and after being bitten quite badly by a dodgy upgrade cd and losing heaps of work I am very reluctant to upgrade.
Is V9.8 a good version?
Can I install it in a way that I can still run my mouse powered V5 as well?
Will all my stuff from my old versions run on 9.8?
Are there any more important questions I should be asking?
I can buy a brand new unused copy for £20 but it has no box or manual.. is this a bad thing? I was pretty much self taught without the use of books for my old version so if it's not so different I should be able to pick it up reasonably well....???
