File: RES_AVE9.123 (103 sheets, 52Mb) on WinXPpro
123 Version: N9.8.0208.1200
This multi-sheet file has an autoexec Macro ie an old Lotus autoexec Macro that calls a LoutsScript script (that reads in 100 external CSV files via FileCombine)
Two Problems occur regularly (but not always ?), the second one the most serious:
1. After saving successfully & closing, 123 shows the following Dialogue Box message....
123w.exe Application Error
The instruction at "0x03d2e56b" referenced memory at "0x0ac1047c". The memory could not be "read"
Click on OK to terminate the program
...I then have to close 123 & restart it in order to open any other .123 subsequently. (NB the first number ("0x03d2e56b") seems constant across error messages whereas the latter changes.
2. 123 crashes when trying to save RES_AVE9.123 & this corrupts/destroys the file (filesize => 0bytes !!!)
I can live with problem 1 but 2. is a fatal one (meaning I always loose any work I have done on it, having to
revert to numerous "old" backups & can never really make progress on RES_AVE9.123)
Both these problems only occur with this RES_AVE9.123 file and not other .123 files (some much larger in MB !!!)
(and moving from WinXPpro to Win7 sees the same RES_AVE9.123 errors)
A previous (smaller) version of this file was working fine for a long-time; I added some extra formulas that @VLOOKUP an external .123. Could there be a size limitation in 123w.exe (where there are external @vlookups used) ?
