How to convert or6 files to MS Outlook2000/3
Bernhard . Frisch 27.Nov.06 01:16 PM a Web browser
Organizer All Releases Windows XP

Before I would giveup Lotus Organizer, I would try to sync
Calendar
Contacts
ToDo
Notes
to the Handheld-Organizer (and not to Handheld-Outlook) using Windows Mobile 5.0 with fast XCPC or
Intellisync.

A search function for "Outlook" will certainly give you all info for an import of LO to OL. Unfortunately Outlook 2003 can do this only if Outlook 2000 was installed before (maybe the upgrade to 2003 uses the converters included in Outlook 2000).

I can only recommend to look for Updates for Outlook 2000 on the Microsoft Website. As soon as all updates are installed, your Outlook 2000 should show the same as my Outlook 2003:

Lotus Organizer 5.0
Organizer 97

You only have to make a copy of your LO.or6 file and rename it LO.or5 and Outlook is so dump and doesn't realize it's a renamed Or6.file.

Even if you don't understand German, look at the screenshots:

Another was is XTNDConnectPC, that can sync calender, contacts, ToDos and Notes directly from LO to OL and vice versa.

Best regards
Bernhard
(Some users prefer to let me do that for them for a small 1 hour fee - the only problem is sending the 10 times bigger Outlook files)
