I'm rebuilding old worksheets that contain many links to other sheets. When I copy and past links from one worksheet to another one I notice that the links typically take this format:
+<<E:\PathToFile.123>>$A:$A$13..$A:$A$13
But when I look at my old worksheets I see that all the links have this kind of format:
@@("<<E:\PathToFile.123>>Z$7")
What is the difference between these links? Both of them work but I am a bit puzzled by the use of the double AT symbols, what is the purpose of the @@ symbols as opposed to the +<< syntax? Does it make any difference? Does one method make retrieval of the links any faster or slower or any more reliable?
I am using 123 version 9.8, this version uses +<< for the file links. The old worksheets were created a long time ago on an old DOS systems, I don't remember the 123 version but suffice to say that it would have been about 20 years ago. The old worksheets use @@ for the file links.
