There is a Lotus Viewer available for download at
ftp://ftp.lotus.com/pub/lotusweb/product/smartsuite/kvlotus.exe (KeyView for Lotus).
Within the included files the read me makes no mention of the program requiring a license or being "free for personal use only". In fact the read me hints that it is free with a Pro version being available with greater functionality for a fee.
Anyhow, basically I was wondering does anyone know for sure what the licensing would be for this application. We have licenced copies of Lotus Smartsuite 97 installed on most desktops already, perhaps the licence for these would cover this viewer?
Basically we are looking at phasing Lotus Smartsuite out in the organisation whilst still allowing users to open historical documents.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
