CAN'T COPY data from one workbook to another Why?, Is there a way?.
I'm currently using Windows 98, with Lotus SmartSuite 9.8, I had SmartSuite V.9.0 millennium edition installed having the same problem.
In lotus 123 I have workbook [named A 30 AB] containing 29 sheets in it , in this workbook is a sheet named Bk DB which is empty at the moment, In my second workbook is a single sheet [named BANK] which has bank data entries consisting of 10 columns as a header row in A49 , all named different, then in rows A50..J1420 are bank data entries that were made in to [named BANK] it some time ago.
My problem is that no matter what I do to copy all the data and its formatted cells from the second [named BANK] workbook into the first [named A 30 AB] workbook the system just freezes up, I'll show you the codes later.
With both workbooks open at the same time I have tried edit copy, edit paste, edit cut, edit paste, even special paste, I've tried /C in former lotus, no luck. I've reloaded windows & Lotus from scratch about 5 times now thinking I missed something, No LUCK.
I've even deleted all the style, range names from the [named BANK] workbook, then tried all types copy, cut, paste, move no luck, I keep getting these page fault codes,
What are they, where do I or how do I fix these errors I'm getting.
Note, that every time I try some other way to do this the system freezes, so then I start all over again, Open both file and try some thing different HOPING, nothing.
From time to time the complete computer will freeze to the point that I have to use the reset button manually to restart the system.
When this happens I get a totally different error codes that reads like this one below.
