Hi there,
We are busy testing a large legacy .wk4 workbook (from Lotus 1-2-3 R5) on the latest version of Lotus 1-2-3 (9.8 with all fixes applied), which contains a variety of different macros - most using the classic Lotus slash menu.
When the macros are run, we are intermittently getting lockups/crashes of Lotus 1-2-3 with 100% CPU usage. Whenever we trace/step through the execution, the last command is always {CALC}, but in different places/macros.
Also, I have to manually refresh all file links each time I open the workbook before pressing F9 to recalculate. If I dont, and just press F9, then Lotus will stop responding when F9 is pressed.
So my questions are:
- Is there any known problem that causes {CALC} to crash Lotus?
- Could the fact that it is a .wk4 file be an issue in 9.8?
- Why do the file links have to be initialised manually before recalculation?
