I'm hoping someone can help me. I am a disabled person who has been compiling all of my medical/tax/financial information on a Lotus 123 spreadsheet for the past 15+ years and have no desire to change to other software.

I have devised my own spreadsheet which meets my needs: tracks my finances (SSDI/LTD), assets, unreimbursed medical expenses, monthly prescription refills, etc., and then winds it all up in a ball at year end for for tax purposes. I do not want to have to reinvent this particular wheel.

I have been given the gift of a new computer, a Dell All in One AMD Athlon™ II X2 Processor. It has Windows 7 preinstalled.

I am running and have the installation disc for Lotus SmartSuite Millennium edition (Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0). I believe I purchased this software in 2002, upgrading from much older software. I have been working in Windows XP.

Is it likely this Millenium Edition will play nicely with Windows 7?

If so, should I install from disc and perhaps clean up my spreadsheet, transferring only most current data, leaving behind 15 years of data on a backup drive in case I ever need to refer to it? I have to admit my spreadsheet has been getting rather glitchy ... it's a heck of a spreadsheet, never been pruned.

If Millennium will not play nice, is there a version of Lotus available that will not break the bank for a person like myself who uses it for non-business purposes, just to track personal medical expenditures and household data.

I am a person with Multiple Sclerosis, a neurological disorder of the central nervous system, and cognitive difficulties are an issue. Learning new or even updated software would be an issue for me. But ... if I have to, I will do my best.

Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Dee
