Here goes. I run and still use 1-2-3 release 5.01 for Windows, which is in SmartSuite 96. I upgraded(?) my computer from one that ran Windows XP to one that runs Windows 7 with 64 bit OS. I received the following message after installing SS 96 on the new computer - "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an X86 (32 bit) or X64 (64 bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
I have several questions.
Is there a version of SS with 1-2-3 that will allow me to use the same 1-2-3 files with 64 bit Windows 7?
If not, is there a way to convert the files to Excel 2007 or 2010 to use them in Excel.
Lastly, is there another workaround all you big brains could suggest?
