The decision to buy new release 9.8 depends on whether I can write macros in the same "language" as 15 years ago, '96 version. From reading posts here I am gathering that is true, but hoping for a more direct answer. If so, are there 2 ways to create macros, the "old" language, and something akin to Basic language? Although very fluent in old macro writing, I am unversed in understanding macro creation in release 9.8 and would appreciate a real quick primer - dumbing it down is fine :-)
