I'm working on a SmartMaster template.
On each page I have to write a text the the department name and date of the presentation etc.
No problem - I collect the input in some InputBox's in a script and store the input in some global variables. The input is inserted into some textboxes and everything is working fine until.... I either save and reopen the document or switch to an other Freelance presentation and switch back again.
Then the variables are lost in some big void of electrons.
I have been thinking of using the FX fields to store the variables in, but I cannot find any information on storing and retrieving information fra FX fields.
Does anybody have information on working with the FX fields from Freelance OR an other way of storing some variables in the document so they can be retrieved after the document is closed and opened again.
