we have a user who wanted to embed a quicktime movie into his freelance presentation. When trying to display the movie during a slideshow or preview movie when inserting into the document, it gives the error: MCI error MCI error 277 in MCI_play This is on a computer running Quicktime V6 and Real One Player V2.0. Same symptoms on both. On another computer I installed Quicktime V6.4 and the error did not appear BUT would simply display a black box when trying to play the movie clip. The movie clip is not corrupt. Tried several quicktime movies with same results. When viewed in Quicktime or RealOnePlayer it works fine. Any ideas? Does Freelance only support older versions of Quicktime? I can't find anything on the web site about this.
