(1) I embed Lotus 123-R5 spreadsheets in Word or PPT 2003 (with XP Pro), and the exposed object face can then be resized by pulling its corner. I can also open the object, go to another sheet in that embedded file, change a value, recalc and exit, and the same exposed face remains locked-in place. (2) I can embed Lotus 123-R9.82 spreadsheets (not R5) in Word 2007 (with Windows 7), but the resizing and exiting from another sheet does not work, and the object face is not locked in place. (3) Does anybody know how to regain the easy resizing and value editing of yore? Such resizable, recalculable emebedded spreadsheets are very convenient and their loss is an obstacle to upgrading.
