Having upgraded my computers a few times over the last 20 years (currently running vista) I find myself still functioning with an old Lotus Smartsuite 9.5 package. I only use the 1.2.3 worksheets and the word pro and have thousands of files. Everything seems to be working fine. The only isssue that I have ever had is when I try to send documents to non lotus users..I have to convert to a pdf.
I have limited computer knowledge but thought I better ask this forum for some guidance on the upgrade issue. Also, I see that ebay has versions 9.8 for sale for around $25.00. Would this be a viable avenue or am i stuck buying the $200.00+ version that IBM is selling. Is it possible to purchase just an upgrade?
Thanks for any advice and remember, I am a bit challenged in the computing world.
