Hi Michelle.
Use Organizers Menu. File > Open and in the bottom right corner of the dialog box. Click the button "Lotus Organizer 5.0 (*.OR5). From the drop-down list that appears, Select "Lotus Organizer 97 (*.OR3). You may need to navigate to find the OR3 files. You can keep using them as OR3 files or Save them as any other ORG file type or version. ( Functionality decreases with older versions)
Also You can reset the Default Location for wher Organizer looks for files and or saves them. Do that through the Menu as well. File > User Setup > Organizer Preferences. Select the Folders TAB. and make the changes.
Regarding the "Address" issue . not sure what you mean here.
Remind you mom to do frequent "Compacts" and keep a backup copy.
