Looking for suggestions that would allow for NT users to automatically authenticate against Domino LDAP using NTLM.
Here is the background.
* Sametime 8 is configured to bind with MS Active Directory.
* Users must log on (using email address) to schedule and join meetings.
* Getting familiar with ST8.0 Online Meeting Toolkit and also with Outlook Collaborative Data Objects using Visual Basic Editor.
* Am able to schedule meetings from Outlook and create new meeting requests but get prompted to authenticate when the meeting is created to satisfy LTPA.
Would like to see if it's possible for the Outlook user session and or NTLM token to be used and passed to Domino when the meeting is Posted.
First thing that comes to mind is that perhaps I may have to configure IIS to as the front end web server and Domino in the back end to make things easier.
This would also help when Outlook reminders pop up and users can click on the direct link to join meeting without being prompted to authenticate.
I know this IIS front end setup is not supported but perhaps there is a more viable solution that will effectively act as a NTLM to LTPA token converting process.
