For those using SSL and HTTP Tunneling:
The common mistake in this configuration is to change the URL to HTTPS. This is wrong. The properties file on a Server with HTTP Tunneling will need to listen to the HTTP intra-server connection port, i.e. port 8088.
Therefore if you have :
when HTTP Tunneling and SSL is enabled, things won't work.
You will need to have the following:
The Second requirement in a HTTP Tunneling/SSL configured Sametime Server is to have a properly configured server document.
When you set the HTTP port to 8088 DO NOT redirect to SSL. Leave the port enabled and make the following changes:
In the Ports-Internet Ports Tab:
TCP/IP port number: 8088
TCP/IP port status: Enabled
In the Internet Protocols-HTTP Tab:
Host name(s): sametime.domain.com
Bind to host name: Enabled
Home URL: https://sametime.domain.com/stcenter.nsf
The Home URL with the full https path will force the web users to be redirected to an https connection.
Once the changes are made, restart the server and wait for all Sametime Services to initialize in the Windows Services.
The Slides tab should now be available.
