Sametime Limited Use 8.5.2 Windows

Hi,

Here's my configuration:
A Windows 2008R2 Domino 9.0 server
A Windows 2008R2 Domino 8.5.2 and Sametime 8.5.2 server
A Win2003 TS server, on which i installed a Notes 9.0 Basic client.

When trying to access the ST server, no error message on the client, he's says he's connecting but nothing happens.

Uninstalled the 9.0 Basic client, installed the 9.0 Standard client and connection to the ST server was ok. Presence awareness, chat, etc. No pb.

Uninstalled the 9.0 Standard client, installed the 8.5.2 Basic client and again, same situation: client prompts for password, accepts it, says he's "connecting..." but no more.

I added 1246 in the VPS_PREFFERED_LOGIN_TYPES in the sametime.ini to accept this client version as it seems to be the used one (found on IBM's "Table of Client types that are connecting to a Sametime server").

The funny thing is that using the Epilio Login tester (www.epilio.com/web/logintester.htm) in the same situation, i can login on the ST server. The stlog.nsf shows a correct login.

As nothing appears in the stlog.nsf file on the ST server when i try to connect thru the Notes Basic client, i suppose the Notes Client is misconfigured.... but what ?

TIA for ur help,
Yan
