I've used STLinks to provide a "Live Help" feature on a company website. The chat interface that customers see has the "Add Tools" and "Invite Others" buttons stripped off.
Customer Service wants to push out to the customer an interactive video demo of their product. They do this by adding the Screen Sharing tool to the chat and showing the demo within a shared frame.
This works great except that the customer gets Lotus logos when the Meeting Room client loads. Then the customer has buttons and menu options to start new meetings, invite new users, view poll results, share their own screen, etc. It would be nice if the whole meeting Room client was bypassed and the customer just saw a window running the Customer Service person's demo program.
I'm guessing that's beyond STLinks? From what I can tell, the Java toolkit should be able to control the Meeting Room client but the documentation is a bit over my head. I wasn't able to determine if the look and feel of the Meeting Room client could actually be customized. Any pointers? Or is there a better way to approach this objective?
