IBM recommends issuing a "tell staddin quit" as it can take some time for Sametime to stop (all STxxxx.exe processes to terminate). After that, it is safe to issue a quit to Domino. Otherwise, just issuing a quit to Domino "could" result in a crash as domino thinks it is not stopping properly due to the time it takes Sametime to stop.
So my question is how to accomplish this in an automated shutdown. For instance stopping the Domino Windows service in the event of a power outage. Are there any notes.ini parameters to specify tasks to terminate on shutdown (opposite of ServerTasks=). Or a parameter to allow Domino more time to stop before it considers the shutdown as hung?
