RE: schedule meeting login fails
Sametime Support 14.Sep.05 12:42 PM a Web browser
Online Meeting Center/Meeting Room 6.5.1 Windows NT/2000

It sounds like something is misconfigured.

1) Your directory assistance database (da.nsf) needs to be properly configured to point to the correct LDAP server and that the LDAP tab is filled in with the correct settings (see sthelpad.nsf, search on "active directory" and locate the document titled "Create a Directory Assistance document that enables the Sametime server to access the LDAP server ")

2) Your stconfig.nsf / LDAPServer document is configured for MS Active Directory (see the sthelpad.nsf and the release notes). The field name is: "Attribute of a person entry that defines the internal ID of the Sametime user", This parameter must specify the "DistinguishedName" directory attribute.

3)Check the ACL settings in stconf.nsf
If you set Anonymous = No access, then it will force authentication.
Once the users have authenticated, they get the "Default" access, so make sure you set that up appropriately.

You can verify that web authenitcation is correctly configured by attempting to authenticate with a non-Sametime database with one of the users specified in the LDAP directory that you defined in the da.nsf (example: log.nsf)
