Just got this resolved so I thought I share it with you. My environment:
Server1 ST Meeting Base only (SLES)
Server2 ST Meeting Document Conversion/Recording/Rendering (Windows)
This is not mentioned in the documentation and some stuff is caused by bugs in the install scripts.
1. There need to be SSO config established between server 1 &2. So configure the SSO the same way on server 2 and export/import the LTPAToken.
2. With the above in place the error changes. Now we see that the user logged on cannot be verified with the directory when going from server 1 to server 2. So we need to copy the wimconfig.xml from server 1 in order to get the same federated directory on server 2.
3. Under some conditions, install steps that are needed around management of the WebSphere admin user and the recordings bot user are not carried out by the install. This is most frequently seen on the BASE servers in a complext deployment where none of the farm model roles are co-located with the BASE role.
Use the py script to correct this issue.
