We're thinking about upgrading a Sametime 3.0 server to Sametime 3.1. According to the release notes, the 3.1 client is only "certified" to work on the Win2kPro and WinXPPro Windows OSes. Hmm. What does that mean?
If we have existing users running the Sametime 3.0 client on Windows 9x, how will this affect them? Can they continue to run their old client? If so, what functionality with they lose?
Will the 3.1 client refuse entirely to run on their machines? Or does it just lack Lotus's blessing? And is it just the c++ Lotus Connect client that won't run under Win9x? What about the Java clients -- Lotus Connect for Browsers, the Meeting client, the Broadcast client?
