Kai-Uwe Rommel 10.Aug.05 08:43 AM a Web browser Online Meeting Center/Meeting Room 6.5.1 Solaris
I have installed a Sametime 6.5.1 (including FP1) on a Domino 6.5.4 server on Solaris 8. Everything seems to be running fine. An external LDAP server is used, authentication works. Actually, this is the second Sametime server in this network, the first one is based on Windows and is used productively for quite some time already and uses the same LDAP directory. So from this side we should be safe.
Now, I am encountering the following problem:
When I access the meeting center, log in and create a "Start now" meeting, it begins fine. In my client browser, the usual separate meeting window opens and begins loading. Immediately before the point when the meetings password should be asked for, it aborts and I only get "Your connection to Sametime has been disconnected" or so (I translated this message from the localized german version back to english, so in the english Sametime it may be somewhat different).
When I do the same from the same client with the same browser and the same JRE to the other (Window based) Sametime server, it works fine. So I assume it is a problem with the new Solaris based server. But I can't see any error message in the usual places on the server that would give me an indication about what is going wrong.
Does anyone have an idea where I should start looking for the source of the problem?
