Greg Edwards 5.Jan.07 05:34 PM a Web browser
Online Meeting Center/Meeting Room 7.0 Windows NT/2000

Server - Windows 2003. Sametime 7.0. ST Connect Client 7.0. Domino 7.01

Probably a simple setting I'm missing. I can open an online meeting from the web, both from my internal network and from external thru the firewall......if I open it from directly at the ST website. My server doc HTTP port setting is 8088 and this correctly does not get put into the browser URL.

If I open or test from my ST Connect client using "Meeting->Attend a Meeting" or "Options->Test Meeting"(and am accessing from outside the firewall), the URL adds 8088 such as "www.company.com:8088....." and fails. If I remove 8088 from the URL, it works fine. Internally, this works fine too, BUT appends 8088, which I don't want regardless of how I'm accessing.

Why would my ST client, cause the URL to add port 8088? And why would that work fine internally but fail from outside the firewall?

ST Client settings are Community port 80 and Connection is "Direct connection using HTTP protocol". Also tried with "Using my IE HTTP settings."
