RE: Sametime - Domino SSO using Internet Sites
Scot Haberman 11.Jan.06 04:20 PM a Web browser
Server 6.5.1 Windows NT/2000

You can still setup SSO for the Sametime server. First, if you have any internet sites for this server, get rid of them. Sametime does not support them. I assume that the two servers are in the same domain so make sure that the internet site documents do not allow the sametime server as part It would be listed in the Domino servers that host this site.

I will use the Admin client for stepping thru this. Open the Config tab. Click on the Web link. Click Web Server configurations. Make sure you scroll up. If there is NOT a web SSO document, you need to create one. THis is the R5 type. Open one of the server docs and then click the Create Web - SSO configuration. Fill out the info. Do not enter the origanization (this will make it display in Internet Sites view) and only list the Sametime server. Import the SSO key and save it. Now make a copy and paste into this view.

Under Internet Sites, make sure you delete any SSO doc. Now go back to the WEb Server Config and edit the pasted document. Add the origanization that is used for INternet Site docs and the servers (not the ST server). This will make it show up in that view.

This is an unsupported configuration but it works. In essence, you have ensured that the R5 SSO doc and the Internet Site SSO have the exact key (by copy/paste). You have also entered which server should use which SSO doc.
