Recently installed Sametime 7.5 from ICT. Like what I see so far, but I seem to have a problem with Voice Chat with specific users at specific locations; i.e. I can hear other people but they can't here me. Have tried several different combinations and not been able to figure out why this won't work.
I have successfully used Voice Chat with a department mate when we are both at work or are both at home.
I have trouble with trying to use Voice Chat with a person in a sister dept, but only when both at home -- we can hear each other when both at work, but when at home, I can hear her, but she cannot hear me.
Mic test via File > Preferences > Voice Suite > Audio Devices works, as well as Voice chats at work, so I know it is NOT a problem with the mic on my laptop.
We have ensured that microphones work, line levels, and speaker voluems are all turned up.
Why would location matter and in one direction only?
