RE: Notes client Domino Token Based SSO with AD LDAP ? Ben Williams 23.Jul.15 03:37 AM Lotus Notes Administration 9.0All Platforms
That is not possible. You either use AD or Domino, there's no way to use both.
The SSC is not patched often so you will not need to upgrade that often. The install is fine. I don't find it to be a problem, again, if you have worked with it enough it shouldn't be challenging.
If they are using iNotes 9 then STLinks is not supported, you have to use STProxy, or don't have awareness in iNotes.
You have to use the SSC with Sametime 9. You do not need to use the SSC with Sametime 22.214.171.124 but you will need to use LDAP. LDAP is required for both versions.
You can install a Sametime 126.96.36.199 Community server and a STProxy and not install an SSC to manage them both. It would be a little more difficult to administer but I have done it before internally and for a customer.
If the Domino HTTP passwords in Domino LDAP were kept in sync with AD then would this work? It would mean that they would still need to log in with a password but it would be the same as AD. Oh, just seen Barry's comment.
SPNEGO is not that big a deal and there are plenty of business partners that could help if help is needed.
