The manual says the following ...

Chapter 3 talks about Community UI components, and it looks to me like you have the ability to change the Chat UI Component because it says ..

Customizing the Chat UI Component
Overview
Customizing the Chat UI component provides the ability to customize the chat window without having to design a new window.
You can customize the chat window by:
• Adding user panels to three fixed positions
• Adding menus and menu items to the window menu bar

I have read this to mean I can add functionality to the standard Chat UI that users already have once they download Sametime Connect software. If this is wrong, please tell me before I make more of a fool of myself than already.

If you can do this, where do I start? How do I add the Java code into Sametime - the Sametime client subdirectory contains maing .ocx and .dlls - no insertion points that I can see.

Help me please.
