Need feedback on:
Users > firewall > portal 6.0 & sametime 8.
Firewall has 80 and 443 open; ST & WP using SSO; certificate auth enabled on WP and ST and it works. tunneling enabled on ST, so users outside firewall can access java connect and meeting services over 443 fine. http is set to redirect to https on st server.
when enabling ST in portal, I added the VP_Trusted_IPS (or whatever the field is) to sametime.ini; made the changes to wpconfig.properties > specified ST is enabled, FQDN of ST server, specified http for type and port 8088 for port, as tunneling is enabled; and ran the wpsconfig lcc-configure-sametime. Afterwards, I checked the csvenvironment.properties and the changes are in there. I then clear cache out of temp dirs on portal and restart. I receive an error in the java console - illegal redirect URL. I imagine the error is caused by 8088 not being open on the firewall, so my multipart question...
With tunneling enabled, should I be specifying 8088 (the port for http)? Since we have http redirecting to https, should I change the type to 'https' in wpconfig.properties and the port to 443?
