I thought I would visit my old nemesis, the Business Card Photo. Ever since this came out, the only way I can get this to work is to use a 3rd party tool, create a new attribute (jpeg:photo) and then attach a photo to that attribute.
I find this to be quite cumbersome and don't keep up with updating my users because it's so cumbersome.
So I'm revisiting it again today.
Today I am following the following document: https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21250874
I have followed this document word for word, double checking everything. The photos still do not show up. I can tell something is happening because when I look at my business card, my photo is not showing up now, as it was earlier because I setup the attribute in my LDAP.
Now, at the end of the document in the URL above I noticed that it says " If there is a UserID stored as a file in the person doc, it will prevent the display of a the photo" We don't have ID files attached to the person documents, however, we do user Cisco Unity Voicemail integrated with Lotus Notes. With a voicemail account integrated in Lotus Notes, a file gets added to a person's person document. I also noticed that when I put a photo in the UserPhoto field, an untitled document is added to the person document as well.
Could this be the problem?
This is what my person document is looking like:
The Untitled document is there when I add the photo and gone when I delete the photo. The CSUnityVoicename is for my voicemail account.
I am just havig a hard time with this, so if anyone can offer any assistance, it is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
