Sametime Online Meeting Center/Meeting Room All Releases All Platforms

We have setup an extranet portal for Sametime use. Through this portal external users can communicate with a select group of users of our organisation. This includes chat, and online meetings. The latter are scheduled meetings only and created by users in the organisation.

The group of extranet users consists of suppliers and customers. Website has been setup in such a way that no user has access to the list of users in the NAB in any way. All is locked down and in-accessible.

What we found is, that despite our security and despite the fact we have turned the option "Users are not allowed to browse the directory" on, authenticated users, when participating in a meeting will always see the entire content of the address book when selecting the option "Invite Others". This option is part of the meeting room menu and is there per default.

There is nothing we can do about it, as it is part of the applet and therefore not changeable. I have so far not found an option to turn this option off.
For the exception of the rigorous solution to delete some of the hidden views in the NAB to display/select users(do not want to go even there), does anyone come across the same problem or have a solution to this!?

Any help is appreciated!
