We have an externally hosted Sametime 7.5 CF1 server running on Domino 7.0.2 FP1, which runs on a fully patched Windows 2003 SP1 server. It has a private IP Address, with Static-NAT forwarding from the firewall it sits behind.
The relevant ports are opened on the firewall to allow traffic through, however, I have not been able to attend any meetings I create, as it cannot connect to the host. I can see the packets arrive on the network interface, but the client cannot connect.
Does the host machine need to have the public IP address that the FQDN is registered with in the DNS? As I have perfectly working copy of the server working in a local environment?
Has anybody else encountered this or has a similar set-up working OK?
