We are facing a problem in the configuration and setup of IBM Lotus Sametime Standard with the following components :
IBM Lotus Sametime Community Server 8.5.2IFR1 (Win server 2003 SP2)
Sametime System console + DB2 (Win server 2003 SP2)
A Win Server 2003 SP2 server regrouping:
IBM Lotus Sametime Proxy Server 8.5.2IFR1
IBM Lotus Sametime Media Manager Server 8.5.2IFR1
IBM Lotus Sametime Meeting Server 8.5.2IFR1
IBM Lotus Sametime Community is installed on top of IBM Lotus Domino Server 8.5.2FP2 which is used as LDAP server for all the other components
In our society we have two organizations : /Organization1 and /Organization2. Directory assistance is used to make all users reachable in each organization.
We added a second LDAP in the community server and in the Sametime System Console (federated repository), so that users from /Organization2 can be authenticated and connected to sametime functionnalities.
But, users from /Organization2 are only able to use community functionnalities (chat). They don't have Audio/Video icons on their clients when they are connected, and they have this error message displayed:"Your Sametime Computer Audio/Video is temporarily unavailable. You will be unable to make audio/video calls. Log out and log back in to resume use of audio/video."
Is there any good documentation for using Sametime with multiple LDAP organizations? thanks for help
