Sametime Connect Client 9.0 Windows

Our agency uses IBM Connections Cloud and has adopted Sametime for office messaging. We really would like to make use of the status message feature to indicate short term unavailability, such as "went to lunch, back at 1pm" or "meeting with a client".

The problem we have is that no one remembers to switch the status message back.

It seems to me that most users have exactly the same problem, and that Sametime should allow for each status message type a way to indicate how you want it to react to future mouse activity.

For instance, we would typically set an Away message that would (after an obvious initial delay of perhaps 1 minute) automatically reset to Available upon mouse activity. This would operate exactly the same way that the default away message is started by inactivity (for the default 20 mins) and reverts to available (ie: green) when mouse activity occurs.

We use cloud, so no on premise configurations are possible.

Any suggestions?
