MacOS High Sierra - Sametime 9.0 not working

Sametime Connect Client 9.0 Macintosh
After we upgraded our MacBooks to MacOS High Sierra, Sametime client 9.0 stopped working. I tried to reinstall SameTime, but I get "The default Java VM configured for this system is not supported. See the Information Center for more details." This is 6th month, I am trying to find some solution, but no luck. Apple and IBM support pointed fingers at each other for this issue. I tried contacting IBM technical support thru our corporate account, but no luck. Anyone faced this issue? any solution available? Thanks in advance.
