Hi,
We are using notes 8.5.2 with 8.0.2 st client. One of the users is facing a queer issue.
User advised his lotus notes contacts randomly go offline and then reconnect.. by far it's find and seems the everyday privacy list problem that can be resolved by removing the entries in set,get and delprivacy views.
But the user receives some error messages intermittently too..
1) The user tries to chat with another user and gets the below message...
Timed out waiting for x y/OU/OU/O... please close this chat and try again.
2) "SaveBuddyListThread" has encountered a problem. java.lang.NullpointerException.
Deleting PersonCache did not help and neither did resting the profile from vpuserinfo.
Also the user faces this only when he is using VPN connection (working remotely)... but he has confirmed that this effects sametime only.
Please help.
