Tried searching and did not find..so if I missed an entry sorry for the duplicate.
What I have is a java program that calls sendAnnouncement(). I have a couple questions I am hoping to get pointed into the right direction for a solution.
My main issue is the length of the announcement. I can disable the features for fading etc the announcment window on the client, but would like a programmatic was to override it. Example - tell it when I call sendAnnouncement() to stay open for 60 seconds or 1 minute or default.....or even never close..... Anyone seen a way or know of some documentation that will help me figure this one out?
My other issue is the text of the announcment and I am just probably looking in the wrong place but can we do anything beyond static text in the announcement (without having to switch to a IM Chat window)? Users would like to be able to send a URL that can be clicked on.
