I'm getting so frustrated with this...
I've installed a clean install of Windows 2003 SP2 with Domino 8.5.3.1 and ST 8.5.2 and 8.5.2 IFR1. I've resolved the issue I was having with not being able to ping the FQHN and I can ping just the host name, and the IP. I can connect to the Domino server with a Notes client. However, no matter what I try, I cannot connect to sametime with the embedded client or the stand alone client.
I've even taken a copy of the current Sametime server document and edited the server field and FQHN field in the hopes that perhaps I was missing something, but still no luck.
When I try to connect I either get an error that says the Sametime server is unavailable, or I get an error that says that a connection couldn't be made at this time, and that the server is unavailable or not configured correctly.
I am able to connect to it with a browser and access stconfig.nsf and stconf.nsf. All services appear to be running.
I'm ready to drop kick this thing to the curb. LOL.
