We have experienced major issues when trying to convert powerpoint slides that contain Charts (Copied and pasted) from excel. The chart axis labels and data table are virtually impossible to read, as if parts of the characters and numbers are missing. Also, any line charts seems to be missing sections of the lines. Any suggestions on how to improve our results when converting Powerpoint slides?
I have tried all the special paste formats from Excel to Powerpoint (I.e., BMP, Object, etc). I also used a separate program, to take a printscreen of a chart in excel, saved that as a bitmap, and inserted that into powerpoint. Once converted with printcapture it looked terrible in sametime.
All tests have been made using the printcapture utility. I also made sure fonts were ariel, but did not help.
In all cases, the powerpoint looked fine, but the convert results in the .fst file were terrible.
