Hi,
We have Sametime Community server, Sametime Meetings, Sametime Media Manager, Sametime Proxy and Sametime System Console, all authenticating out of the Domino LDAP. Sametime Community server also uses Domino's (not the same Domino where ST runs) LDAP service and not the Domino Directory.
Now we want to change the user repository from Domino to Active Directory. All the users present in Domino LDAP are there in AD, but AD has a different LDAP schema. Now, how do we move all our Sametime systems to point to Active Directory? Should I add an LDAP server in SSC and use it everywhere?
And what will we lose if we move to a different LDAP server? I believe that the Sametime Contact List will no longer work and the users will need to add the contacts again - I'll be happy if I'm wrong! Also will the Presence awareness work in Notes Inbox?
