I'm working on creating a TCSPI to connect to a third party conferencing provider. I followed the stav-integration guide in the 8.5.1 SDK. I am not seeing any conferencing options in the connect client, the steps for installing the TCSPI seem very simple. I would think there is more to it than just dropping files in a directory. Does anyone have some experince with this that can tell me what I'm missing?
Installation steps from SDK stav-integration guide.pdf
1. Create the Telephony interface.
2. Create jar file.
3. Copy 2 config files and jar files to <conference manager root>\sametime_tcspi directory.
I also did the following:
Sametime System Console > Manage Policies
Instant Messaging > Edit Policy
Selected > Allow all Sametime Connect features to be used with integrated clients (IC)
Media Manager > Edit Policy
Selected > Allow access to third-party service provider capabilities from contact lists, instant messages, and meetings
Selected > Allow changes to preferred numbers
Voice and video capabilities available through the Sametime Media Server: Audio only
